Welcome to my personal homepage. I am a university lectuere at Computer Engineering Dept., Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University which have more than ten years' teaching experience at Faculty of ICT, Mahidol Uiversity and Suan Dusit University in Thailand before moving to my current position. I am also a co-founder of Thailand's biggest computer security community: 2600Thailand, and a vice chairman of OWASP Thailand Chapter.

Hi! My name is Karin Sumongkayothin.

I obtained two Ph.D. degrees in the field of Information Science and Engineering and Technology under the collaboration scholarship program organized by Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) Thammasart University, and National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC). I also achieved Master degree in Microelectronic from Asia Institute of Technology (AIT), and Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Kasetsart University.

I specialize in cybersecurity research area in particular of crytographic application, system security, secure machine learning algorithm and offensive security techniques.

Area of interest

I am addicted in Cybersecurity research area especially in Offensive Security and Cryptography topics. My current topics of interest are: Post-quantum cryptography, Attacking on machine learning algorithms, and Secure Access Protocol on Cloud system.
