What is GCC?
GCC is a 1-week non-profit international cybersecurity training programe contributed by 8 contries: Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Each participating country takes responsibility to host each annual edition.
Non-commercial education programs and communities organize the program supported by industry leaders who care about the safe digitalization of the world.
Mission
The aims of GCC is to strengthen the security community across Asia and nurture future global leaders. Annually, the best 36 students from member countries gather in one of the participating countries for a week to exchange experience, forge a life-long friendship, and learn from the best cybersecurity professionals. The goals of GCC are:
- Facilitate international collaborations and partnerships amongst cybersecurity institutions and communities to boost the quality of cybersecurity talents;
- Foster cross-border cybersecurity community and friendship amongst the next-generation cybersecurity talents; and
- Nurture future global cybersecurity leaders with cross-border cybersecurity and cultural knowledge.
